The alert, classified as limited in intensity, indicates chances of rainfall accompanied by cloud activity.

The Met Office warned of dust storms over desert areas of al Buraimi, al Dhahirah, a Dakhiliyah, North al Sharqiyah and al Wusta governorates.

The alert carries a moderate impact level, with reduced visibility expected in open and desert areas.

Meanwhile, active wind is predicted to affect  al Jazer, Duqm, Shalim and the Hallaniyat Islands.
